Behlen Observatory will be open to the public from 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. on Friday, April 20. Join us Friday, April 20 for a chance to see a number of beautiful celestial objects including theHercules Star Cluster, the Whirlpool Galaxy, a Waxing Crescent Moon, and the planet Jupiter. The date also marks the midpoint of the Lyrid Meteor Shower, so you may catch shooting star or two! As a very special treat, Dr. Kevin Lee will be giving a presentation on Stellar Demographics. Also, the Society of Physics Students will be on hand with amazing science demonstrations!
