Lunar Eclipse Fun - 4/3/15 and 4/4/15

April 2015 Lunar Eclipse Party at Behlen Observatory

Beginning on April 3rd, 2015 Behlen Observatory opened for a special event. It was Easter weekend, there was a lunar eclipse coming, and the department of Physics and Astronomy has friends in the rock world. What better combination could there be for an Easter Bash and Lunar Eclipse viewing. The rock band, Fluffy Psycho Bunnies stepped in for the Easter Bunny, and the event culminated at 7am on April 4th, when the lunar eclipse achieved totality. Video of the concert can be found on YouTube and photos are below. Please check back for further details on the next Public Night at Behlen Observatory, so you will not miss out on the fun!
